Das mittlerweile dritte Album der holländischen Harfinistin und Komponistin Anne Vanschothorst könnte eine echte
Alternative zu einer Weihnachts-CD und ein meditativer Begleiter für lange Winterabende sein. Vanschothorst spielt
darauf ihre eigenen, wunderschönen melancholischen Kompositionen, eine Musik, die sie “minimal music for harp
and percussion” nennt und in der sie lediglich von dem Percussionisten Arthur Bont begleitet wird. Wer Yann Tiersen,
Michael Nyman, Philipp Glass und Eric Satie – Vorbilder der Harfinistin – mag, liegt hier goldrichtig.

The third album by the Dutch composer and harpist Anne Vanschothorst could be a real alternative to a
Christmas CD and a meditative companion for long winter evenings. Vanschothorst plays her own,
beautiful melancholic compositions, music that can be called "minimal music for harp and percussion"
in which she is accompanied only by percussionist Arthur Bont. The music is indeed influenced by
composers like Yann Tiersen, Michael Nyman, Philip Glass and Eric Satie.
